French Strisselspalt Hop Profile

Strisselspalt is a premium aroma hop from the Alsace growing region in France. With medium intensity and a pleasant hop aroma, Strisselspalt is one of the continental European noble aroma varieties, known for low cohumulone and typically very low alpha acid content. Strisselspalt brings soft spice and floral aromas perfect for lagers, saisons, and kölsches. A true noble hop with unmistakable Alsatian flavor.

Beta Acids: 3.0 - 6.0 %
Cohumulone: 22 - 25 % of alpha acids

Myrcene: 35 - 52 % of total oil
Humulene: 15 - 25 % of total oil
Caryophyllene: 8 - 10 % of total oil
Farnesene: < 1 % of total oil
