Description
Attach a straining bag, size to be determined by the depth of your kettle, to the center ring. The spider sits securely on the top of the kettle with the bag hanging into the wort, but not touching the bottom of the kettle. Add hops or spices to the bag extracting all their goodness during the boil. Once the boil is complete, remove the spider and bag from the kettle which will also remove the spent hops and/or spices leaving only the hot break in the kettle to settle prior to racking.
