All malts will be bagged separately unless otherwise specified in the instructions in the shopping cart. The option to mill will also be in the shopping cart.
Rahr distillers malt is processed using North American barley. The malt is processed to maximize the enzymatic activity to provide the needed functionality for the distiller. This product is extremely high in diastatic power and alpha amylase along with high levels of FAN for yeast nutrition. Typical analysis for diastatic power is >220 L.
