Directions for sanitizer:
Mix 2 OZ sulfite crystals with 1 gallon of water. If using hard tap water, add 1 tsp acid blend.
Potassium or sodium metabisulfite is added to wine to inhibit bacteria and yeast growth, as well as slow down oxidation. It may leave an unpleasant aftertaste in wine if the dose is too high.
