American Oak has aromatic sweetness and campfire/roasted coffee attributes present in Medium and Medium Plus toast levels with intensity increasing with the toast level. At Medium and Medium Plus toast levels, it imparts vanilla, graham cracker, coconut and clove characteristics. It contributes cooked fruit more than fresh or jammy, and imparts mouthfeel and fullness, especially in the Medium Plus toast level.
